Founders

Vincent Wen established Transound Electronics Co. Ltd. in 2000 and is the founder and chairman. After graduating from Taiwan KenXing University, he went to Japan to study electroacoustic theory and practice under Japanese technical masters. With more than 30 years of experience in the acoustic industry, he has become a leading acoustic solution provider and pioneered the mass production of pack-pole microphones in China.
 
    With Mr. Wen's leadership, Transound has achieved multiple milestones in the industry.
In 2002, Transound created the first mass-produced back electret condenser microphone and its core material, the backplate application technology, in China.
In 2013, Transound developed metal beryllium film technology, surpassing conventional PET diaphragms for loudspeakers. These films are extensively used in piston earphones, with an annual sales volume of 20 million pieces.
In 2019, Transound published a research paper on high-sensitivity voice coils based on beryllium metal thin films at the Institute of Acoustics (IOA).

Chairman Vincent



  The individual holds prominent positions in several industry associations, including the Electroacoustic Industry Association, Guangdong Electronics Association, and Dongguan Science and Technology Association. A graduate of Xidian University (Class of 1984), he began his career as an engineer and advanced to become the director of a state-owned factory. In 2000, he co-founded Dongguan Quansheng Electronics Co., Ltd. with a Taiwanese partner, serving as Vice Chairman.

  With over 30 years of experience in electret product development, he has authored numerous papers and secured more than 200 patents. Under his and Vice Chairman Zheng's leadership, the company has been awarded 233 patent certificates, including 11 invention patents and 16 American invention patents. Their contributions have been recognized through various awards for scientific research achievements and theoretical advancements in Dongguan City and Guangdong Province.
